UPGRADE/DOWNGRADE TO IOS 11.3.1 IS NO LONGER POSSIBLE

Apple has finally closed the signing window of iOS 11.3.1 after signing it for more than six weeks.

Since Apple’s TSS Server no longer authenticates this version, upgrading and downgrading will not work anymore.

However, restores using FutureRestore utility are still possible provided you saved your SHSH Blobs.

Yesterday, Conan’s TSSSaver website went offline for a few hours which led to a lot of users missing the signing window.

If you didn’t save SHSH Blobs with the recommended APNonces, you can still use them for a restore. You can manually change the nonce generator later.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISSED THE SIGNING WINDOW?

Surprisingly, Apple is still signing iOS 11.3 Beta 5 for some reason while all other betas have been closed.

You can either upgrade/downgrade to iOS 11.3 Beta 5 or stay on your current version. Download iOS 11.3 Beta 5 from this link and use the “Update” button in iTunes.

The only downside of installing a beta version is that your device you will keep bugging you to update to a stable version.

If you haven’t saved SHSH Blobs or updated your operating system, your version might still be compatible with the upcoming jailbreak.

Ian Beer’s exploit works with iOS 11-11.3.1, so Electra jailbreak can support all versions up till iOS 11.3.1.
